I am registered with Health&&Care Professions Council as well as CSP & AACP and AAPI. I graduated with a Diploma in Osteopathy (DO) but I am not to be registered is Osteopath in the UK. I am a certified practitioner of Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI 3&12 series)The 12 'myofascial meridians' in the Anatomy Trains system join the individual muscles you learned into functional complexes within the fascial fabric – each with a defined anatomy and 'meaning' in human posture and movement.

At Physio Integration, I use a very good tool called Rehab My Patient, for exercise prescription. RMP allows me to send bespoke exercise programmes to patients via email and printed in colour.
Rehab My Patient exercise programmes are high-quality images and HD videos with clear descriptions and prompts to advise how to do an exercise. If the exercise is difficult, I will of course show you how to do it as well. However, putting the exercises onto a PDF or emailing them to you also serves as a good reminder on exactly how to do the exercise using good technique, and advises the number of times to do that exercise.
I have a data-sharing agreement with Rehab My Patient, and I input your first name, last name and email address on there with the purpose to assist your rehabilitation. RMP has a 5-star security rating and is protected by Cloud Flare and Digital Ocean and will never share your details with a third party, and their servers are based in the UK so they are governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (2018). ATSI helps organise the patient body in space and ordering the body to bring the muscles where they belong so the gravity field can balance the resources of wellbeing. ATSI is an art based on science, integration, wisdom, trust, caring gratitude of mutual respect between client and therapist. It’s a personalised and effective journey that engages the client to help to utilise theirs powers against gravity.
It gives connectedness to daily movements and an effortless body which enriches you. 12 session ATSI is dedicated for everyone from chronic pain patients, sports injuries that are difficult to resolve as well as general improvement of posture and body awareness. Anatomy Trains Structural Integration works on the web-like complex of connective tissues (called fascia) to release, realign and balance the whole body, thus potentially resolving discomfort, reducing compensations and alleviating pain.
Essentially, the process enables the body to regain the natural integrity of its form, thus enhancing postural efficiency and your freedom of movement. The feature of Structural Integration is a standardized "recipe" known as the Twelve Series, the goal of which is to systematically balance and optimize both the structure (shape) and function (movement) of the entire body over the course of 12 Anatomy Trains sessions.
Each session focuses on freeing restrictions or holdings trapped in a particular region of the body. Throughout the process we maintain a holistic view of the client's entire system during each session, thus ensuring the transformational process evolves in a comfortable and harmonious way. I know you may have more questions which you would like to ask about ATSI. I would be happy to answer all of them personally or you can email me at annareece@physiointegration.co.uk
I personally believe that each of us should experience ATSI and based on my own experience it feels wonderful to be balanced and use less energy to move easier with less tension and a calmer mind. I highly recommend it. Session last from 60-90 minutes, every session is individually tailored to each patient’s needs. The gaps between sessions can vary from 1 week to a month depending on our dairy.
Price £100 per session.
Why will Structural Integration benefit me?
We are actually one integrated system, but we are accustomed to dictating to our bodies from above, believing a cultural myth that our minds and our bodies are separate. The series is a time to listen for the messages coming up from below. When we develop a deeper awareness of the subtle messages we are constantly getting from our body, telling us when we are getting off track, we are empowered to readjust how we are moving and holding ourselves. Benefits of these sessions vary widely from person to person, but often, the results below are reported.
How does SI differ from massage?
Structural Integration is really a partnership between therapist and client where we both work together to free up and integrate your body. It is more participatory and involves more movement than the typical massage model, where folks often lie passively under a sheet on the table to receive massage. The primary goal is to organize the structure of the body, and this is best done with your awareness, breath and conscious movement. Although fascial work can be deeply relaxing, relaxation is not the goal of our sessions; in fact people often feel more energized after a Structural Integration session than after a massage.
Likewise, whereas massage sessions often focus on local areas of pain and stiffness, the goal of SI sessions is to integrate your body rather than just focus on the area which is hurting. Pain is often caused by fascial restrictions in other areas of the body. So we are addressing the chronic strain patterns which, in the long run, can reduce musculoskeletal pain.
Myo-Fascial Stretching is the precise stretching of a muscle within its fascial chain. The technique respects the physiology of the myo-fascial complex and takes into consideration its intrinsic anatomy and effects on joint mechanics.
And just to name a few important benefits of Myo-Fascial Stretching: Improved joint mechanics with smoother and increased range of motion
ELDOA
ELDOA is a French acronym that translated stands for Stretching in the longitudinal axis to create decoaptation (separation) of the osteo-articular joints. It is a revolutionary rehabilitative technique that involves decompressing and strengthening a targeted joint segment. The technique was developed by world-renowned French osteopath Guy VOYER. The ELDOA is an active strengthening techniques that uses self-induced global myofascial tension in specific postures. Each posture is linked to a specific joint segment when the lower part of the joint segment is fixated while the upper part is mobilized. There are specific ELDOA exercise for all spinal segments, the costo-transverse joints, sterno-clavicular joints, sterno-costal articulations, the gleno-humeral joints, the hip joints and the sacroiliac joints.
